Job Description:
A prestigious AmLaw 100 firm is seeking an experienced Real Estate Associate to join its dynamic team in the Atlanta office. This opportunity offers the chance to work on high-profile business and legal developments, including significant commercial real estate transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and pro bono matters. The firm’s Atlanta office is located in a LEED-certified building in a prime location, offering access to convenient amenities and transportation options.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of meaningful experience negotiating and drafting purchase and sale agreements, loan agreements, ancillary loan documents, and closing documents related to acquisitions, dispositions, and loans. You should possess strong academic credentials, a solid work ethic, and a passion for growing your practice in commercial finance and real estate.

Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate and draft purchase and sale agreements, loan agreements, ancillary loan documents, and closing documents.
  • Manage and close real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions.
  • Work collaboratively with senior attorneys, clients, and professionals across the firm.
  • Provide strategic legal advice on commercial real estate and finance matters.
  • Conduct legal research, prepare written analysis, and draft various legal documents.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) required.
  • Must be admitted (in good standing) to the Georgia Bar.
  • 3-5 years of experience in real estate law, with a focus on negotiating and managing commercial real estate transactions.
  • Strong academic background with excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and interest in growing a practice in commercial finance and real estate.
