Experienced Finance Attorney
Are you an accomplished finance attorney looking to join a dynamic and collaborative legal team? A prestigious national law firm is seeking an experienced attorney for its Finance & Restructuring group, with positions available in New York.

In this role, you will work alongside partners in a thriving finance practice and engage with both existing and new clients. This collaborative team has a national presence and frequently collaborates with international offices. You will work on a wide variety of debt finance transactions, including bank and private lenders, senior and mezzanine debt facilities, asset-based lending, cash flow, syndicated, club and unitranche financings, project finance, sponsor finance, and more. Experience in workouts or restructuring transactions is a strong plus. The title for this position will depend on the candidate’s experience level.

A successful candidate will work well with others on this collegial, motivated, and client-oriented team and take leading roles appropriate to their experience and expertise. Strong drafting and client counselling skills are essential. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, possess good presentation and client-handling skills, and have the ability to engage with and nurture junior attorneys while developing their own career.
Qualified Candidates Will Have:
- A JD degree from a top-tier ABA-accredited law school.
- Five or more years of debt finance or analogous experience at a large national or international law firm.
- Admission to the bar in New York, or the ability to become licensed in these states.
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- Top academic credentials.
Compensation and Benefits:
For New York applicants, the salary range for this position starts at $290,000. Pay is determined based on various factors, including depth of experience in the practice area.
