A highly regarded AmLaw 70 firm is seeking an experienced Construction Litigation Counsel/Junior Partner to join its thriving Construction Litigation Group in Orlando. This role presents an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned attorney to join a dynamic team handling high-stakes litigation, risk management, and large-scale infrastructure projects in one of the nation’s fastest-growing cities.
The Opportunity
This Orlando-based team operates at the forefront of construction litigation and contract negotiation, representing contractors, developers, and owners throughout the entire construction process. As Counsel or Junior Partner, you’ll play a key role in managing a diverse caseload, including:
- Payment disputes
- Design and defect claims
- Contract preparation and negotiation
- Risk management to prevent disputes
- Resolution of disputes through mediation, arbitration, and litigation
Your Experience and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- 10+ years of litigation experience, including extensive work in construction law
- A strong track record handling matters ranging from contract administration to alternative dispute resolution and litigation
- Experience advising clients across the construction spectrum
- Florida Bar admission in good standing
- Excellent academic credentials, strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
