One of our firms favourite clients, who are a law firm in Washington, DC, are seeking two junior associates to join their Bankruptcy/Creditors’ Rights practice group. The firm’s bankruptcy litigation practice is frequently engaged in Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases, focusing on analyzing and resolving high-profile, complex disputes. The practice covers a wide range of issues that may affect creditors in bankruptcy proceedings.
Ideal candidates will have 1 to 4 years of litigation experience, preferably gained through prior law firm work or clerkships, and should be part of the graduating class of 2020-2023. While bankruptcy experience is not required, candidates with exposure to bankruptcy and/or creditors’ rights will be given additional consideration. Strong academic credentials are essential, with candidates expected to be in the top tier of their class from reputable law schools. The litigation group values effective communicators who are eager to join a close-knit team.
