Insurance Litigation Associate
A law firm is seeking an associate with three or more years of litigation experience to join its growing Litigation group in either Hartford, CT, or Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience advising and representing insurers, reinsurers, and intermediaries in insurance coverage actions and reinsurance disputes. Preferred experience includes complex litigation matters such as coverage disputes, regulatory investigations, environmental liability, asbestos, construction defects, opioid-related claims, workers’ compensation, toxic torts, and other mass tort litigation.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment alongside industry experts. The firm’s Insurance & Reinsurance group boasts a comprehensive understanding of the insurance industry, with a proven track record of representing clients in major coverage cases.
The firm provides a hybrid work schedule that combines in-office and remote work, offering greater flexibility to its attorneys.
Candidates must possess 4-6 years of solid insurance and reinsurance litigation experience, excellent technical and client service skills, and strong written and verbal communication abilities. A team-oriented mindset with an emphasis on collaboration and effective problem-solving capabilities is essential. Candidates should also hold admission to the Connecticut and/or Massachusetts bar in good standing.
